I want to thank you for your time keeping system. I was working on the bi-weekly payroll and noticed that an employee clocked in/out from a cell phone. They are required to clock in/out from the land line at the designated facility they are working. I instructed the supervisor to get her to write a little statement as to why she did this. It was moreso an exercise for me to let them know that someone is watching over this area. The supervisor said; “I checked and she did not work on these days.” She had called in and said she could not work but clocked in from her cell phone. Needless to say, we do not have this issue anymore.

Thanks for your note. I am very happy with the service. It is a great way to keep track of employee hours. I am thrilled that I didn’t have to invest in equipment. And, payroll was so much quicker with everything right at my fingertips. We decided to create a company policy that employees must call in from phones at our shops. No cell phones or home phones allowed. This helps to insure that they are actually at work and not just “on their way” or whatever! It is working great!

As Chronotek users for several years, it always enabled us to keep track of our employees. The new online version has simplified my life even further. No longer are we dependent on just one terminal we can use any computer whether at home or here in the office. I can update my employees and our building schedule in seconds.

Thank you Chrontek for showing me how to grow my business without getting new customers. Simply by maximizing my income on existing accounts by using your time keeping system. Example: Since utilizing your system in one bi-weekly pay period, we saved fifty, (50) labor hours which equates to $450.00 less in payroll, which reduces workman’s comp., reduces unemployement etc. This is like going out and selling two new accounts without the associated cost. The last we talked you were wondering how much your service is saving me. … I can safely say it is $400 per month. You folks have done a terrific job and deserve kudos for it.
I have just got to say that I don’t know how I ever lived without Chronotek! It is doing for me what I have been wanting and needing to do – keep track of how much time and money is being spent on each jobsite – with so little effort on my or my employees’ parts. You’ve got a very intuitive tool, here. Quickbooks (of which I am a huge fan) has a time tracker, but everyone has to put in their hours. This doesn’t work for the janitorial industry on so many levels. It assumes everyone has access to the required technology; time gets entered well after the fact since they would have to wait until they got home or to a computer to enter it, which means they still have to fill out paper time sheets on the jobsite; it actually adds an extra step and more work; and the margin for error is increased since there is a large gap between when the job is done and when the hours are entered into the system. Chronotek solves all these problems. But of course, you already knew that.
